Large pot: for boiling the noodles
Strainer: for draining the cooked noodles

1 pound noodles (ramen, udon, or soba noodles work well)
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
